After being buoyed up by many cunning deals Chris raids Tesco’s and buys up the clearance camping equipment and rugs.

He didnt spot the tent would be too short for anyone over the age of 6, and that isnt a mental age!!

Don’t Mention The War

Right how much fuel will we need? After another impromptu meeting it was decided (al la back of fag packet) that we needed 4 Jerry Cans, with 3 for diesel and 1 for unleaded for the generator and cooking.

So someone went off on a deal hunt and found a local Army Surplus Store that after a bit of haggling gave a reasonable price (weren’t able to get tank commander goggles thrown in for free grrrrr!)

Power Plant

“Generators, what do I know about generators?” well after a couple of days quite a lot.

Team Rubbishes latest acquisition is a silent running 2.2 KvA petrol generator. As Chris did a bit of a mental calculation Colin pointed out that yes it would run the projectors and then happened to add it would also run a microwave, which he regretted instantly.
